  1. Well that’s a few quid saved for me then. No way am I walking around with Turkish Airlines written on my chest. I find it bizarre to have a different location featured prominently on the front of a shirt for a club from Liverpool. A generic, non geographical name would have been better. It’s just all a bit pony for me too. It’s hardly known as one of the best airlines in the world, let alone best companies. Then of course, there will be bald fans who just can’t be arsed with the aggro from people saying “never mind Turkish Airlines, you need a Turkish Hairline…” etc etc
I think shirt sales will drop- so yeah, it’s a lucrative deal but they’ll lose money from that. Instead of the purported £60m a season, they could have taken a better company at £55m a season, and sold more shirts. Bizarre move, not for me.

  2. Absolutely f*ck all worth supporting about this club anymore… No scousers in the team… Just another soulless corpo-b*stardisation of something I used to love

Hope they never win another game

  3. It's nice to have a slightly less dirty sponsor. Standard Chartered are the only bank ever found guilty of money laundering and are heavily involved in the genocide being committed by Israel. Hopefully Turkish Airlines are much cleaner.

  4. Morally, definitely happier about this new sponsor. And all this "Carlsberg, Candy or Crown Paints" talk is nonsense! We're one of the biggest clubs in the world, so we need a sponsor that matches our status! And the coin reflects that!

  5. Liverpool has sold its soul here and can't really complain any more about dictatorships bankrolling Man City, PSG, Newcastle. Turkish Airlines is very closely tied to the very, very murky regime of Tayyip Erdgoan and it's exploiting Liverpool's good name as political whitewashing.
