It's a new concept to me, and a way of squeezing more cash out of those who genuinely want to wear what the players wear. You have a mass production of millions of fans jerseys with cheaper materials (costing much less), and a limited stock of jerseys made with top quality care and attention, with better (if not more durable) materials. The devil really is in the detail. One more thing… the more durable fans version will withstand many more washing machine washes than the delicate players (authentic) version, I reckon. I'd never pay the actual asking price for an authentic jersey, but if I could get one much cheaper in a sale, then I'd go and buy it without question. It would not be for wearing on the street though, I already have the fans version, so that I can do that with it !

Went into the Liverpool shop in Dublin to buy my 2 gransone the Liverpool green jersey age 9 and 5 the jerseys where 75 euro each i had seen them on line for 60 euro each when I ask why I was told that's the price in store so I went home and order them on line saving 30 euro the staff were not bothered at all 😢😢😢😢
