I bought mine when it came out in 89. I was 17. Still in fantastic shape but Just had to have the Candy mended. Favorite kit of ALL time

When I bought the 89 season top, my mum said it was made at a granny material wore it once and then I put it away. I got about 52 Liverpool tops worn them once and then put them away.❤

Among Liverpool jersey collectors here (Indonesia), we call this iconic 89 jersey motif "Candy Beling" and the meaning of Beling itself is a broken piece of glass/cup/plate/mirror. The beling motif on this 89 jersey is a collection of broken glass pieces.
