In 1987-88 we had a player called imri varadi or however you spell it.. This narrative about city looking amazing is getting out of hand. They only look good against 10 men who’ve not played like a team for the past two seasons. Until the red card, they squandered possession, had very few chances and if I’m correct in remembering didn’t even have a corner in the first half let alone a shot on target. All three of their goals were class, can’t take that away, but that’s probably more down to the fact that Liverpool capitulated
