Wirtz was worth half what we paid? That's why Real, City and Bayern also wanted him?? Unfortunately, he came into a shitshow of a season with Diogo's loss, Mo falling off a cliff, Slot losing the plot and players, Trent and Diaz and even Darwin leaving, and Isak's transfer and injury travails. In that mess he actually did OK last season. This season he has had a couple of poor games, but has worked tirelessly. He's clearly a reserved kid, still very young, and both are probably playing a part in his difficulties after a tough first season. So how about we just leave him alone and give him the season to see how he does. We've just become the second team to win at Bournemouth since January 2026.
