  1. I’m gonna have a controversial take. We always say poor ref protect the refs. My Lord. I don’t think they get enough stick. Forget Liverpool for a moment. All these ex refs can’t even bring themselves to say that was an error and that’s a pen all day everyday…there egos are that fragile they have to give themselves a get out of jail free card all the time. And that fool wants to talk about sustained? Ok hears one for him…. all the refs for at least the last 5 years have had a sustained period of being god awful.

  2. This is nothing new it constantly happens to us against arsenal and man city season after season I wasn’t surprised and the PGMOL is going to come up with some excuse to try and justify the actions of the VAR personnel’s but some thing is not right because every time we play arsenal we don’t get the calls 90 percent of the time

  3. The ‘dark arts’ is not talking about good defending. It’s defenders diving to the floor to buy free-kicks, standing in front of free-kicks to stop the game. Time-wasting. They’re the most cynical team in Europe.

  4. So…in order to get the Foul..a player MUST fall over…if Isak arches his Back and goes down, Ref gives it?? BULLSH1T!
Arsenal Players were falling over and staying down every time they were touched….in the opening 10 minutes 3 of their players went to ground stayed on the Grass after being challenged…stopping the Game and spoiling it as a spectacle.
Champions of England playing like that …what an advert for the premier league they are…embarrassing.

  5. Arsenal fan – they’re right it was a pen. Only way to root this out is to be honest.

But also a red on the tackle. Also macalluster should have been booked for diving.

  6. The ref had a good game – what game were you watching? Andy Madley must be one of the worst referees in the league. No wonder he hasn't refereed a top 6 game in such a long time. As for standing in the tunnel at half time and having a cosy chat with the Arsenal players😒😒

  7. I genuinely can't stand Arsenal, but then again I can't stand Liverpool. Both members of the corrupt self entitled premiership cartel. I guess however that makes me a genuine neutral and I think that's a penalty all day long.

  8. The worst decision was Nyoni doing exactly the same foul as Mateta twice in 10 minutes not getting yellow let alone a red 😂

Despite Liverpool fans claims it was high and could have done his Achilles

  9. This is BS! Did you people actually watch the match? The refereeing was dreadful both ways. How Nyoni didn't get at least one yellow card is beyond me. How McAllister stayed on the pitch is also beyond me. There was even a point at the end of the first half where Liverpool got a throw-in after the ball came off their player, which led to a corner to them that came off their player again and should've been a goal kick, and then they got a freekick in the aftermath of that corner for a challenge from Timber where Timber made NO contact whatsoever. Not to mention the shot Bruno G. had that deflected off a Liverpool player and the ref awarded a goal kick. So leave off it that Liverpool were hard done by. The bad decisions in the match evened themself out, and Arsenal were the better team that deserved their victory on the day. Lots of possession and pressure for Liverpool, but zero shots on target. Liverpool got exactly what they deserved out of that match! Terrible refereeing for the entire match both ways regardless. Do one Jeff!! You're just a hater and clearly clueless!!

  10. Jeff n Ally…The Standard of Refereeing in the so called best league in the world is just shocking… if you pulled a player shirt like that in the middle of the pitch you would have got a yellow card for what they used to call Ungentlemanly conduct!! I’ve had a yellow card for pulling an opponents jersey before at amateur level and asked the ref what I was being booked for and he told me Ungentlemanly conduct…But my point is an Amateur level ref can call it at Amateur level Without a fourth official and a team of VAR!! It’s Every week! these mugs aren’t good enough to referee at the very top level of the game and to add insult to injury the end result is usually someone getting booked for venting there frustration over there own poor decisions on the field…Premier League is corrupt it’s been proven….Refs on cocaine saying he hated the Liverpool manager Come on!!! Teams breaking more rules for over a decade with more charges incoming it’s a farce…Fair play to Arsenal though they play the Refs to a T with all there falling over at the touch of a finger and rolling about… Macca was it aswell so was Gabriel for Arsenal holding his face it’s all for the VAR….I can’t stand how SOFT the game has gotten as all you have to do to get a free kick these days is if a player is jockeying you on the ball just collapse to the floor and turn into a goalkeeper and hold the ball with your hands and scream REFEREE!! instead of an outfield player Holding up the ball with upper body strength… It’s a contact sport…It’s only the Premier League I see how bad it’s got and it’s all on the Referees… I love when it’s European Champions League nights as the games are a Breath of fresh air as the Standard is just on another level or couple above at least above these Sunday Pub League Refs in the Premier League Week after week here we are again…You could make a mini series out of the terrible decisions they have made as a collective… Oliver n Anthony Taylor could play Stan n Laurel 😂😂
